Deer Creek Sport Horses

Every year Deer Creek either purchases or breeds young hopefuls that we feel are superior sport and performance horse prospects. These future champions can be purchased as weanlings, yearlings or two to three year olds, prior to starting any formal training in their future discipline. They are all selected or bred for, based on pedigree, parent performance, quality, looks and mind. They have all been handled daily and in some cases, already started attending shows and events for experience and exposure. See the mares page for custom foal services.

This is Brietta DCSH. She is out of our imported Zangersheide mare, Colibria Z by the rare imported cremello German Warmblood stallion Blue Eyed Dream GF. She was the first buckskin foal by this stallion. She is big and beautiful with long legs and a classic look. She already shows fluidity and suspension in her gaits, a willingness to please and a wonderful brain. She was presented at the RPSI inspections in August, received a premium score and is now a branded Zweibrucker.  She will be a very big girl (16.3-17.0) and definately has a jumping career ahead of her. $$

Blue Eyed Dream GF

This is Starry Eyed Surprise, aka Stella. She is out of our TB mare Done With Style by the double registered perlino APHA/AQHA stallion RFF Starbuck. She is absolutely flawless with a classic look and attitude for a QH/TB cross. She has a beautiful babydoll head, a lovely topline and long legs. She is the perfect buttermilk bucksin color with a light coat and dark legs. She also has the highly sought after "primitive markings" including a dorsal stripe and banding at the shoulder and above the knee, with very unusual leopard spotting at the hocks. She already shows a toe-pointing flat kneed trot ideal for the hunter ring. She is quiet and highly intelligent. She is pending triple registration with APHA (solid paint bred), AQHA (Incentive Fund) and a buckskin registry.  Very reasonably priced. She has a bright future as a show horse and then a broodmare, as she will no doubt be accepted into any of the major warmblood studbooks. $

DCSH Bright Spot: 2007 Registered AQHA (Incentive Fund) colt. Dark chestnut, nearly liver with four high socks and a thin blaze. Very handsome boy and very eye-catching! Already as tall as the warmblood babies and should mature to 16.1+ hands. Lots of leg and attractive build. Three good gaits, big walk, nice sweeping trot and slow rocking horse canter. Very athletic and smart and will be suitable for any discipline. Good brain and perfect manners. Due to a belly spot, he could also be registered Pinto. $
